PostSubject: So this happened while rotoscoping   Sun Mar 27, 2016 12:02 pm

So I was having fun in AE rotoscoping and editing but then when I rendered the mask you can see that the edited parts of the mask bounces off the mask.

Why's that. I checked the mask to see if I missed some spots but it didn't look like there was anything missing, only when the mask was rendered this happened. But this is not the first time this have happened to me. It just pisses off a little when this happens I just want the mask to stay in the right position. Anyone else here that have experienced this, is there something that I can do to prevent this from happening again? Any help would be appreciated.

Have you pressed the "Freeze" button once you are done with the masking? That will make the mask stay in position and you can't accidently make a change in it ^-^

It almost looks to me like the layer you have colored is animated in your timeline to shift at that frame. If I were you, I would check that the position wasn't changed/animated

Im a little confused, what freeze button? what does it look like. I didn't know there was a freeze button. But I realized one thing and that is that this only happens when I have a layer over the mask.

Wait, did you use the pen tool or the Roto brush? And if there are several layers, then do what Nightsstolen suggests and see if you have moved it by accident. If you used rotobrush, then this option will pop up:

What NightsStolen said, the position of the layer was messing. But it's fixed now
