PostSubject: A Little Help Needed   Mon Feb 01, 2016 9:32 am

So I downloaded Lady And The Tramp from kickasstorrents in 1080p, the quality is perfect but then I wonder how can I convert this file into a mp4 file and then import it to After Effects or Premiere. Cause I downloaded the file with Utorrent and then I could only open it up with VLC and Media Player but with these softwares I couldn't open up the file in After Effects or Premiere. So at the moment I feel lost and Im reaching to you editors for help. Could you also explain it step by step so I don't get confused Im kinda new to this.

I always convert movies with free all converter by free studio. it's freeware, so you just download free studio, then install it and when you open it, you can click on convert video or similar and a new window will pop up where you can choose the video you want to convert, in what format you wanna have it and where!

that depends on what the original file is, if its MKV theres a program called mkv2mp4 that is almost lossless in conversion because it just recontains the video in the new format, instead of recompressing it. just be aware the default state is for m4v (a different version of mp4 for macs) so you have to tick a box in the settings to make it mp4

you can find it here http://www.videohelp.com/software/MkvToMp4

You are a lifesaver! That program is a blessing and it takes a minute to do the job, no re-encoding!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Very Happy
